Have you ever wondered what the job of an air traffic controller entails, or what an ATC centre looks like, or maybe even thought about becoming an air traffic controller yourself?

Now is your chance to get to know the answers to all your questions because EUROCONTROL's Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC) is organising an Open Day on Saturday 21 September 2019 for those young people who are interested in air traffic control.

During the Open Day you will get a guided tour of the centre, see where the air traffic controllers work, receive their training and spend their break times. You will also meet active air traffic controllers and student controllers, as well as our experts who can tell you more about what you need to become an air traffic controller and what other types of jobs and traineeship opportunities MUAC offers.

Please note that you need to pre-register for this event. Registration can only be done via this form and it is on a first come, first served basis. Only people aged between 17 and 24 years who are nationals of one of the 41 EUROCONTROL Member States may register. A valid photo ID must be presented on arrival. The entire event will be in English language, so a good level of English is required.
Participants must arrange and pay for their own travel and/or accommodation, EUROCONTROL cannot cover or reimburse any expenses. Please note that this is a "No parents" event, parents or other relatives will not be admitted. Visitors will be distributed into groups and groups will start between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. In this registration form, you can sign up for your preferred starting time (if places are still available). The program lasts approximately 3 hours for each group.
